There is traditional policy that all share-house guests must help with the day-to-day cleaning of share-house . Share-house do request that guests are considerate to others and that you tidy up after yourself – particularly in the kitchen!
None of our share-houses offer free bus pick-ups. However there are numerous options to get from bus stop to share-house.

All share-houses have single, Double/Twin and multishare rooms. Multishare accommodation is a shared room that generally sleeps maximum 4 people. This is the cheapest way to stay in New Zealand. All rooms are subject to availability.
Yes. Although hostels and share houses provide bedding they do not provide towels or toiletries for guests.
Yes it is nice having your own sleeping bag for sanitary reasons. Pillows and all bed linen are provided for every guest and are included in the bed rate.
Unlimited High speed WiFi internet access is available for very small cost (surcharge).
Check-In – Guests may check-in at any time from 10.00am onwards. There is no on-site Reception at any SH Hastings , you will be emailed all information required to access your booked share house.
Check-Out – Standard check-out is by 10.00am. (if not you will be charged an extra night $30).
Late Check-Out – If you are unable to leave by 10.00am or wish to request a late check out, it is essential to contact shhastings.co.nz reservations team at least 48 hours prior to your departure date. We will do our best to accommodate your request, however please note we have tight turnaround times and this is not always possible especially during high season and shhastings.co.nz reserves the right to charge an additional one night fee.

$100 security deposit required on check in from guests staying at SH HASTINGS. This will be refunded to you by the 20th of the following months after your departure from SH HASTINGS, provided that all your accounts are cleared, there are no damage to furniture and equipment and the apartment is left clean and tidy.
